We do hope a reader of The Ecologist gets the job - and helps bring in some new, radical, campaigning zeal and energy!
After all - we don't want FoE to become another yet corporatised NGO for middle-of-the-road, controversy-dodging careerists shinning up the greasy pole ... do we?
We have an exciting opportunity for someone to join the Friends of the Earth Board. Comprising 16 charity trustees from diverse backgrounds, our Board plays a critical role in leading the organisation.
Bringing passion, experience and expertise to Friends of the Earth, as a trustee you are placed at the forefront of our work to create a positive new relationship between people and the planet.
If you are ready to share your skills, time and ideas, we'd love to hear from you. We are particularly seeking individuals from communities and backgrounds that are currently underrepresented within our Board structure, whilst having experience in finance, business, international relations or high-level advocacy/campaigning.
Most importantly, we need people who can provide the commitment and energy necessary to lead one of the world's most impactful environment charities.

Best wishes,

PS - the pay is rubbish - there is none! But you do get expenses.
