Rewarding recycling distracts attention from the real issue of packaging

Dear editor,

Householders will be rewarded with cash incentives for using recycling bins under Conservative plans to tackle global warming.

Which sounds like me to business as usual - WE NEED TO REDUCE, then REUSE, then RECYCLE packaging.

It seems crazy to keep this over packaging merry go round going, and paying people specifically to join in.
