What is Green Impact Students’ Unions?
Green Impact Unions is an environmental accreditation scheme with an awards element that has a proven track record of greening individual students’ unions. Uniquely, it is all about practical actions rather than policy and process.
The scheme is now in its fifth year and continues to go from strength-to-strength. Eighty-eight students’ unions from all corners of the UK have entered the scheme this year. Making it our most successful year so far!
Your chance to take part
Students’ unions are busy getting their submissions ready for the 17 December 2010 deadline. If you’re a student, students’ union staff member or University/College staff member why not get in contact with your union to see if you can help.
To find out if your students’ union has entered the scheme email [email protected].
Calling all photographers
The Ecologist Communications Challenge Award is one of four special achievement awards available to unions who have entered Green Impact Unions this year.
It aims to display the work of students’ unions through photography.
What we want is a great idea that will have an impact on others. This is all about creativity, originality, clarity and ideas. For more information click here.
