Is your skin vegetarian?

The skin is an organ in its own right and therefore needs specific food and nutrients in order to be healthy and consequently beautiful. Omega 3 and omega 6 are amongst the most important nutrients for our body and our skin. They are called Essential Fatty Acids or EFAs, because they are “essential”. Our body is not able to produce them and without them we couldn’t survive.  The EFA play an important role as a component of the skin “sebum”, the fat that protects our skin and keeps it moisturised. Vegetable oils are the main source of essential fatty acids, and the best to choose from are organic, extra-virgin and cold-pressed as they maintain the integrity of their components and their vital force, hence all the goodness.
 
Many ancient civilizations such as the Egyptians, Greeks, and Romans considered oils very precious, and used them constantly to nourish and feed their skin. Our ancestors have been such an inspiration for so many things, and at INLIGHT we combine this ancient wisdom with modern science and technical knowledge.

In formulating the INLIGHT range I have consciously chosen to give the skin its “5 a day” to be naturally beautiful, and as a vegetarian myself, I can faithfully say INLIGHT skin care is not only suitable for all skin type but ideal for vegetarians too!

	ORGANIC BODY OIL WITH ARNICA, 100% organic With arnica and witch hazel to improve circulation and marigold and palmarosa to revitalise skin cells this healing, anti-oedemic and anti-inflammatory oil is particularly useful for body and therapeutic massage.  The nourishing oils, jojoba, macadamia and rose hip, rich in vitamin E and essential fatty acids, have been blended with the particular aim of nourishing and rejuvenating the skin and increasing its elasticity. Even more effective when used after a hot shower or bath.
	ORGANIC FACE CLEANSER, 60ml, 100% organic For the most important step in your skin care ritual, this deep cle ansing salve, with its mild exfoliating action, will remove make-up, daily grime and dead skin cells whilst respecting the physiological characteristics of the skin.  The antibacterial, antiviral and antifungal properties of coconut oil ensure proper and effective cleaning of the skin, whilst shea butter nourishes and evening primrose oil and jojoba oil, rich in vitamin E and essential fatty acids, help promote skin elasticity.  Specially selected herbs including green tea, ginger, lavender and rosemary help to tone, stimulate cell regeneration and purify the skin.
	ORGANIC FLORAL FACE TONIC, 100ml, 100% organic ingredients* This delightful blend of fragrant floral waters will freshen and gently cleanse the face without drying the skin.   Rose, cornflower, lavender and chamomile with their well-known toning, astringent and soothing qualities also promote cell regeneration whilst grapefruit seed extract is a gentle antiseptic.  Excellent for removing INLIGHT Face Cleanser, Floral Face Tonic can also be used as an instant freshener and cleanser, for both the face and body and particularly in urban or polluted areas. *100% of the agricultural ingredients are certified organic. The water involved in the distillation process of the floral waters, even if the purest, cannot be certified as 100%organic!
